The 3D aspect of the logos is very unique and gives a fresh look on these old V1-2 helmets. Do you have any pics of completed sets with these logos?
I think what you're referring to is just the fact that sometimes I don't feel like the logo is large enough if I contain it entirely in the kidney-shaped side sticker, so I cheat. I'm sort of torn between wanting to stick to the traditional kidney-shaped stickers and just making the logo stickers free of that constraint like they are on the real helmets. Also, a guy named Jim in Arizona (moonslament on eBay) works that way and I think his work is the best I've seen, partly because he doesn't have that constraint. I also understand he uses a computer-controlled cutter, maybe like this one. I'll probably try that one in the near future and will report my experience in this forum.

Pics of the completed sets are attached. Click to see full size. I forgot to mention that the Stuttgart Surge showed a silver/gray shell before the season started but I believe has worn the white every game. And it was sort of funny, when I first saw the Cologne Centurions helmets, I said "What the heck is that color...no, seriously, what the heck IS that?" Then suddenly it dawned on me that it was a pretty close match for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pewter shell. Saves me some painting.

I wanted to try a St Louis Battlehawks based on the Birmingham Bolts pic in this thread. The labels were too thick and I could not apply the decal without serious creasing and serious folds. So I printed it on paper and used glue on the back to make the paper more ‘pliable’ and gooey to be able to contort better to the curves of the helmet.

I forgot to attach the artwork, and relooking at the helmet, there is no handle and the decal starts at the hilt, so I’ve attached the corrected artwork

Big improvement over the traditional side sticker and center stripe.

Here's what the Battlehawks looked like on the field:

I've never gotten around to doing a 2020 XFL set. Partly because of that weird Tampa Bay Viper shell color, but I think I finally hit on a combination that is at least acceptable.

I've only seen helmets for the Stallions, Generals, and Gamblers for far for the new USFL.

The Mexican league, LFA, will be starting March 4 with two expansion teams and one team that changed cities and mascot.

Several indoor leagues with starting date and new teams listed below:

Champions Indoor Football
2/27/22
Southwest Kansas Storm
Topeka Tropics
Billings Outlaws
Rapid City Marshalls

American Arena League
Spring 2023
Adding AAL 2

National Arena League
4/23/22
San Antonio Gunslingers

Indoor Football League
3/12/22
Vegas Knight Hawks

American West Football Conference
3/20/22
Socal Red Tails
Washington Elite

Also, an Irish gentleman in Japan contacted me about doing a Japanese X-League set. I had been wanting to do this for a while, but had trouble finding the necessary info. I was able to find more now, and he had access to really nice artwork for all the teams. He has a sports media company there in Japan:
